Global promotes skills development

Global Specialised Systems (KZN) will continue to constantly align our skills and equity initiatives and actions with broad based BEE. We are compliant with skills development legislation and we are registered with the Construction Training Authority (CETA) to which we annually submit our Workplace Skills Plans. This allows us to derive the full benefit of formal training and Learnerships which we can pass on to empower our staff.

In acknowledging the high value of structured learning, we enrolled Aubrey Sithole, our Dispatch Supervisor for a Management Learnership. He successfully completed this NQF3 Management Learnership through the Production Management Institute of Southern Africa (PMI). Global Specialised Systems would continue empowering our staff through means of Learnerships that are aligned with industry skills and norms.

Basil Hollister, the Managing Director of Global Specialised Systems, congratulates Aubrey with his new qualification during a cerrtificate ceremony in Jacobs, Durban on 25 August 2011.
